Born in 1977 in Xiamen, China, grew up in Hong Kong.
She holds a Master in Sociology and worked as humanitarian worker
on rural development in China until 2007.
She started making performance since 2002.
Often using simple gestures and ephemeral materials,
her works question the issues related to development,
propaganda and government policies,
many of them related to her experiences of NGO work in China.
She is currently a research artist at the Program La Seine of
Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
